  • Coach transport

  • Entry to farms and presentations

^Day delegate registration includes:

  • Entry to all technical presentations for the day registered.
  • Lunch, morning and afternoon tea for the day registered.

Note:  Day delegates can purchase tickets to social functions.

When do Early bird registrations close?

25 October 2024.  EFT payments must be received by 25 October 2024 to qualify for the early bird rate. Standard rates apply from 26 October 2024.

When do online symposium registrations close?

16 November 2024  Registration after 16 November cannot be guaranteed. Close off date is required so organisers can finalise symposium arrangements e.g. catering, printing, buses.

What if I cannot register online?
How will I know if my registration has been processed?

Registration is acknowledged via email. Registration fees are based on the date payment is received (not the date you registered). A tax invoice will be emailed to you within three business days after registering.

What if I want to make changes to my registration details?

What is the criteria for the Full Time Student registration?

Only full time students are eligible. After registering students must email their institution name, supervisors name and a contact phone or email address to info@australasiandairyscience.com. Evidence may be validated before a student registration is confirmed.

I am bringing a guest to the symposium dinner and/or welcome reception. How do I purchase a ticket?

Purchase extra tickets in the “social tickets section” of the online registration process.

How do I pay for my guest’s social ticket on a different credit card to my registration?

After your registration is complete, register again and completing only the social ticket/s section for your guest. Pay using your second credit card. Separate tax invoices will be emailed to you.

What if I register then have to cancel?

Registration cancellations must be emailed to Lea Boodee (lea@on-cue.co.nz).

If your circumstances change and you can no longer attend the Conference or Dinner, you may cancel your Conference registration by providing email notice to: lea@on-cue.co.nz.

Our Conference registration fee and Dinner ticket refund policy is as follows:

  • Cancellation 30 days or more before the Conference date: 50% refund of the Conference fee and/or Gala Dinner ticket
  • Cancellation less than 30 days before the Conference date: no refund.

In the event that you cancel your Conference registration and/or Dinner ticket, we will provide the refund of the Conference fee and/or the Gala Dinner ticket to you (if any) within 30 days of receipt of your cancellation notice.

Please note that cancelling your Conference registration does not automatically cancel your accommodation and travel arrangements. You will be responsible for cancelling your travel and accommodation reservations and for any costs or losses which arise or are incurred as a result of the cancellations.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

Attendee substitutions are permitted without any fee or penalty. Substitutions must be notified in writing to: lea@on-cue.co.nz as soon as possible. Substitutions for events may not be possible, but please check with us.

What is the dress code for symposium and functions?

During symposium days – smart casual.

Welcome Reception – smart casual.

Symposium Dinner – semi-formal

How do I travel between Christchurch Airport and the symposium venue?

Can I smoke at the symposium or in my accommodation?

Refer to signage for designated smoking areas.

Disabled facilities and/or special needs

If you require disability specific facilities, please complete the “Special Needs” section when you register or email lea@on-cue.co.nz

Will I need insurance?

Registration fees do not include insurance cover. It is strongly recommended that delegates take out their own travel and/or medical insurance before coming to the Symposium. Symposium organisers take no responsibility for any delegate failing to insure.  We recommend you discuss your insurance cover with your travel agent.  The policy should include loss of fees/deposits through cancellation of your participation in the Symposium or through the cancellation of the Symposium itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be changed.

In the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters, the symposium organisers cannot be held responsible for any losses incurred by delegates and will not accept responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property occurring during the symposium. The program is correct at the time of printing, but the symposium organisers reserve the right to alter the program if and as is deemed necessary.

Your personal information is only used for the purposes permitted by the Information Privacy Act 2001.  For this symposium we may use your personal information (as provided by you) to:

  • Update you with Symposium information,
  • Invoice you for the symposium.
  • Send you post-symposium information.
  • Include your name and email address on a delegate list that will be given to all symposium delegates.
